Foo Fighters - Doll
For some reason I always stayed away from the Foo Fighters. I guess I was being an indie anti-mainstream kid but I will just on the band wagon now. Dave Grohl is the man. I do like him better on the drums.

Gatsbys American Dream - Modern Man (Live SXSW)
Watched this online yesterday. I would kill to see them live. Video is from Alternative Press check out their site here.
The Republic of Wolves Tuez/Greek Fire Live
I was obsessed with the demos they first came out with then I put them on the back burner but this performance is great. Shit quality but use your ears.

Nostalgia: Local H - Bound for the floor
Underrated 90s band. In the late 90s they dressed up like Nirvana and covered a bunch of their songs for a Halloween show.

Anarbor - Contagious (Feat. Ryan Hunter & Sierra Kusterbeck)
Anarbor - Contagious (Feat. Ryan Hunter & Sierra Kusterbeck) by matthewhietpas
Free Mixtape from Anarbor.Don't care much for this band. Surprised how well Ryan Hunter (formerly of Envy on the Coast) and Sierra Kusterbeck (VersaEmerge)voices work together. The Mixtape also has a cover of Weezer's "Hash pipe". Waste of time, don't listen to it.If you still want the mixtape get it here http://bit.ly/igCpbF

GOBOTRON @ The 567
Solo project from Manchester Orchestra guitarist Robert McDowell. I think I may be one of the few who likes his solo stuff better than Andy Hull's. I think it's the electric guitar.
The Xcerts - Say Yes (Elliot Smith Cover)
Say Yes by The Xcerts
One of my favorite Elliot Smith songs. Great up-and-coming band from England. Buy their Album, "Scatterbrain" on iTunes.

Tigers Jaw - Test Pattern
Some say this record is what Brand New would have released between Your Favorite Weapon and Deja. I say, "NO." But this song is great. 1:26

Tidal Arms - Hair & Teeth
A friend of mine posted this video yesterday on Facebook. Powerful vocals and an even stronger sound. Stream/Buy their album here.
Review: Cage the Elephant - Thank You Happy Birthday
I will be honest, I don't like most bands that are played on the radio because it is just one catchy hit song and not an entire album.
This is who I thought Cage the Elephant was, nothing more than a one-hit wonder, but all my thoughts on the band changed after listening to their new album. "Thank You Happy Birthday" has hints of experimental nonsense meshed with punk roots and Seattle nightmares.
